So I started this blog on a whim a few months ago as an experiment. I had the idea and wanted a personal passion project where I could write about a topic that I deeply care about–bringing clarity about the gospel and the church to many that are deeply confused about the two. It was a spur of the moment thing that I just threw up and said “Well we’ll see how this goes.”

And to be honest, it’s gone really well so far. It’s been fun for me, readership has been growing steadily, we’ve had some great discussions in the comments, and I even had a viral post or two. I’m excited about continuing the site and writing consistently on it (I still plan to post once a week, though I may skip some weeks…I want to protect quality and only post when I have something meaningful to say). I’m thinking about doing a Dear Bible Belt book eventually, and I think there is more fun and good conversations in store.

But here’s where you come in–I’d love to get any thoughts, ideas and feedback that you have so far. So email subscribers, if you have a minute to reply to this email and answer a few questions for me, I’d be grateful for it. Non-email subscribers, feel free to answer in the comment section if you wish or shoot me an email using the Contact link at the top of the page.

Thanks for hanging around, and thanks in advance for any feedback you offer. It is appreciated and I’m looking forward to hearing from many of you.
